On Friday 5 September in the Village Hall car park at 12:00 noon, there will be an opportunity to meet Brightling’s PCSOs (Police Community Support Officers), and also Steve O’Connel of the Sussex Police Road Safety Team.

It will be a chance to air your concerns on police matters. They will be bringing the Speed watch van.

Although Brightling doesn’t have any speed restrictions (apart from the National Speed Limit of 60 mph), i know that the speed vehicles travel through the village is a concern to residents
